How to FindingTrue Happiness: Accept Yourself, Love Others, and Laugh at Yourself.

Life isn't the most enticing sweet.

When I feel like the world is getting too heavy for me, I look around and see individuals who have continued to live intriguing and amazing lives.

The ideas fly into my head like bubbles from nowhere: "How did their lives become so charmingly sweet?" "How do they manage to laugh and have fun while having such a hectic and demanding life?" Then I took a break and observed for a bit...

I deduced that they could be working on a site called self.'

So, how can one get true happiness?

The first step is to love oneself.

"Loving involves accepting," my theology professor once stated.

To love oneself implies accepting that you are not a flawless being, but behind the defects must exist a great deal of bravery to explore methods to develop your repertoire to recover from your mistakes.

Genuine happiness is synonymous with satisfaction.

When you are pleased with your career, your appearance, your family, your friends, your home, your vehicle, and all you currently have - you truly know the answer to the question of "how to be genuinely happy."

When we uncover a little beginning someplace within ourselves, that small beginning will ultimately lead to something else, and something else.

But if you constantly question life, it will never serve you well, and you will never achieve real happiness.

I think that life is about learning what is good and wrong, about striving and failing, and about winning and losing.

These are things that occur as frequently as you breathe and exhale.

Failure has become as abundant and vital in a person's life as air.

However, this should not prevent us from achieving happiness.

In the midst of all of this, how can one be truly happy? I tell you...

Every time you make an effort to improve the quality of your life and your being, whether it's cleaning up your room, helping a friend, caring for your ill dog, failing board examinations or trying again, life rewards you with corresponding points.

Consider life to be a large scoreboard, similar to those used at NFL games.

You score points every time you take a step ahead.

Wouldn't it be great to look at that board at the end of each game and say, "Whew! Today I made a point.

I'm pleased I gave it a chance.

" rather than staring at it all blankly and murmuring, "Geez, I didn't even hit a score today."

I wish I dared to try it out.

We had a chance!" and then exit the room

Genuine pleasure isn't about driving the sexiest Formula One vehicle, winning employee of the year, receiving the greatest 13th-month salary, or exceeding sales targets.

Sometimes the most coveted rewards in life do not necessarily go to the quickest, strongest, bravest, or even finest.

So, how can you find true happiness? Everyone has their own idea of what it means to be happy.

A writer's happiness may entail releasing as many best-selling novels as feasible.

For a basketball rookie, happiness may mean winning the rookie of the year award.

For a beggar, happiness may mean a lot of money.

For a businessman, happiness may indicate success.

So, how do we actually become genuinely happy? Simple.

You don't have to have the finest stuff in the world to be happy.

It is all about doing and making the most of everything.

When you find yourself laughing at your own error and promising yourself, "Oh, I'll do better next time," you carry a flame of strong willpower to continue with you that may spread like a brush fire.

You have the willingness to get back up and try again, which will make you a really happy person.

When you come to terms with yourself and your flaws.

You have completed Step 1 of the project "How to Be Truly Happy."

You will be welcomed as long as you know how to accept others.

For as long as you love and know how to love, you will be rewarded tenfold.

Ask me the same question again:

"How do I become really happy?

" I'll paraphrase a buddy of mine: "Most of us know that laughing is the finest medication for life's aches and pains."

Most of us, however, are unaware that the finest type of laughing is amusement at oneself.

Because you won't just be joyful... you'll be free."
